As usual, Alan has surpassed my expectations with this volume. He made a couple of custom variations that I requested that turned out very nicely and give it heirloom features as a family gift. This is my fourth different book and three have been customized per my request; Alan has been patient beyond expectation and done a great job of making the changes. while I liked all the books that he had done, this particular edition is a very good choice to apply his unique skills to and I have looked at ALL of them from vintage 1st editions onward- the Dulac illustrations and Afterward by Pete Hamill establish it as a late 20 and on into 21 Century edition that recognizes the Mythical Narrator Scheherazade as she should be seen - finally. This is one of Alan’s finest efforts so far - nice art, size, look - well done!
